Description

The District of West Vancouver invites submissions of Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced firms interested in providing consulting services to perform renewable and electrification feasibility studies on facilities within the District of West Vancouver.

Scope of Work
 Perform comprehensive energy audits to assess current energy consumption and evaluate the condition of existing systems and equipment.  Analyze demand-side factors to identify systems and equipment that can be upgraded or replaced to support electrification.
 Propose feasible pathways toward achieving zero emissions through the renewal and replacement of systems and equipment. Assess the technical challenges associated with electrification.
 Provide reports outlining the electrification paths comprehensively, including work scope, upfront capital costs, operating costs and potential saving from energy efficiency improvements, estimated greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction.
 Develop a timeline for implementation and consider phased approaches for large-scale electrification projects.
 Identify any necessary upgrades required for the electrical distribution system, such as transformers, generator, substations, or circuit protection devices.
 Research and identify available incentives, grants, or subsidies that can support facilities electrification projects.
