Description

The Parking Guidance System is TCS International Inc. proprietary system originally installed in 2008 at the Calgary Parking Authority (CPA) sites and CPA client sites. Since 2008, CPA has incorporated this equipment into most parking structures, including hardware, software, business configuration, and integration of the current PGS as follows: • Hardware: Specialized sensors, displays, and controllers have been installed to ensure accurate and real-time monitoring and guidance of parking spaces. • Software: Software solutions have been developed to interface with Calgary Parking (CP) operational systems, providing comprehensive data analytics and reporting capabilities. • Business Configuration: The system has been configured to align with CP specific business processes and requirements, ensuring seamless operation and user experience. • Integration: Extensive integration efforts have been undertaken to connect the parking guidance system with City’s broader IT infrastructure. • Notice is hereby given by The City of its intent to enter into a contract with Q-FREE TCS INC. DBA TCS International 7243375 Canada Inc. (TCS International Inc.) for the provision of the PGS System Software, licensing, maintenance, support, hardware and related services for the Calgary Parking/Mobility Department (CP).
