Description

Ontario Health is seeking expressions of interest from clinicians with expertise in hip fracture for the position of Clinical Lead, Hip Fracture. The Clinical and Quality Standards program develops concise sets of evidence-based statements that inform clinicians and patients what high-quality care looks like for areas where there are gaps or variation in care, focusing on priority areas for improvement. Originally published in 2017, Ontario Health released the updated Hip Fracture: Care for People with Fragility Fractures quality standard in 2024, which addresses care for patients with fragility hip fractures. The quality standard outlines 15 quality statements to describe what high-quality care looks like for people with fragility hip fractures.
