Description

The Ministry of Seniors, Community and Social Services (SCSS), Procurement & Resource Management, North Zone is seeking proposals from multiple qualified Proponents to provide a combination of Career, Employment and Information Services (CEIS), including but not limited to Resource Centre Access, Job Placement, Exposure Courses, Workforce Development, Workshops and Employer Services to Albertans located in Northwest Alberta. The proposed service locations include Grande Prairie, Hinton, Edson, Whitecourt, Slave Lake, and Peace River. CEIS help Albertans to understand the labour market, to make informed career decisions, develop realistic education, training and employment plans to prepare for, find and maintain work. CEIS uses a client-centred, individualized and collaborative approach. For clarity, this RFP is a Contract selection process and is not intended to be considered a solicitation pursuant to Alberta Government’s Procurement and Sole Sourcing Directive or other trade agreement obligations. This RFP serves to provide contract funding to entities that align with the goal and intent of this initiative as determined at the discretion of the Province. Proponents are invited to submit proposals for the provision of Northwest Alberta Rural Employment Services in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions set out in this RFP. Proponents are advised to pay careful attention to the wording used throughout this RFP. Failure to satisfy any term, condition or requirement of this RFP may result in rejection of the Proposal. Multiple contracts may be awarded as part of this RFP. All questions and any form of communication between the Proponents and the Province in relation to this RFP must be submitted in writing via email to prmnorth.rfp-proposals@gov.ab.ca quoting the RFP number (as identified on the front page of the RFP) by June 2, 2025. Questions received after this time will be answered at this discretion of the Province. All questions and responses will be documented and will be posted on the APC website.
