Description

The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to determine if there are managed security service providers (“MSSP”) who would be eligible to participate in a subsequent procurement process (if one is issued) for the provision of managed security services for BCFSA.

BCFSA wants to extend its current security monitoring services and cyber incident response capacity. For this, BCFSA is seeking to partner with a Managed Security Services Provider (“MSSP”) who meets the eligibility requirements of this RFQ once the process is complete.

This RFQ process will evaluate Respondents’ technical capabilities and certain other qualifications to provide managed security services. Responses to this RFQ will be evaluated according to the criteria described in this RFQ and BCFSA intends to select Qualified Respondents according to the process set out in Section 5.1.

Following the conclusion of the RFQ process, BCFSA may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting Qualified Respondents to submit proposals for the delivery of services as described in this RFQ, with the intention that a non-exclusive Contract may be entered into with the successful Qualified Respondent.
