Description

The province requires an online crowdfunding platform to support the administration of its Crowdfunding Alberta program. Crowdfunding Alberta provides a secure online crowdfunding platform for Alberta-based non-profit organizations in good standing to raise donations from individuals and businesses and supports the Government of Alberta to administer matching funds for eligible campaigns. The Proponent will: a) develop, implement and maintain a secure crowdfunding-as-a-service platform to support the Crowdfunding Alberta program; b) migrate data from the existing platform to the new solution if required; c) develop and maintain architecture to interface the platform within the Government of Alberta website; d) provide customer service to users including the Government of Alberta, non-profit organizations developing campaigns and donors. Vendors will be able to handle the current volume of the crowdfunding platform and anticipate doubling growth as the Crowdfunding Alberta program gains traction. The current volume is approximately 200 campaigns per year with 3600 transactions. The successful Proponent will work with Arts, Culture and Status of Women, the existing vendor and as required the Ministry of Technology and Innovation to ensure seamless service delivery.
