Description

Red Lodge Provincial Park Campground is located in Red Lodge Provincial Park (RedLPP) and is located 15 km west of Bowden on Secondary Highway 587. On May 7, 1951, Red Lodge was established as a Provincial Park. With its rustic seasonal family-friendly campground and access to the Little Red Deer river for fishing and water activities, it is a very popular camping destination. In 2024, the existing septic mound system which services the RedLPP shower house and flush toilets experienced a critical failure. This resulted in the closure of all campground showers for the 2024 operating season. Campground flush toilets remained operational with the support of vacuum truck collection services. A functioning septic mound system is required in order to provide shower house and plumbed toilet services within the campground. The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proposals from suitably qualified Proponents who demonstrate sufficient experience and qualification to provide detailed design, secure approvals, prepare tender documents and perform project management and construction monitoring services for the replacement of the septic mound system.
