Description

The Board of Education of School District No. 35 (Langley) (“ SD35”) invites responses from Mechanical Contractors to pre-qualify for projects arising through April 30, 2028. The List of Pre-Qualified mechanical contractors will remain in effect until April 30, 2028, with the option for two one-year extensions, subject to the sole discretion of SD35.

Pre-Qualified Mechanical Contractors may be required to perform various types of mechanical upgrades, which include but are not necessarily limited to boiler plants, air-handling units, ventilation systems, exhaust systems, dust collectors, variable speed drives, heat recovery systems and associated electrical work. Potential projects and timeframes can vary and are subject to Ministry of Education Funding. SD35 may endeavour to purchase long lead time equipment in advance of a contract award.

Based on the review of the RFPQ Responses, SD35 intends to establish a source “List” of 5 (five) Pre-Qualified Mechanical Contractors who, on an “as, if and when requested” basis, may be contacted directly, or asked to compete, to enter into a Contract(s) for the provision of the services.
