FOGO DETACHMENT - 18 ICEBERG ARENA RD, FOGO, NL

Work under this project include: 1.Painting of detachment. 2.Minor exterior repairs. 3. Removed 4. Replace second (aging) furnace as well as the split ac unit. A. The consultant shall evaluate the heating and cooling requirements of the spaces served by the furnace & the AC unit and provide new replacements of adequate size. B. The new furnace replacement shall consider new source of fuel that would eliminate the need for fossil fuel supply/transportation to the site. C. new replacements shall be of energy saving and high efficiency performance attributes. D. Coordinate their operation with the existing ventilation system and furnace. E. Review the conditions of the associated ductwork , controls, piping, power supply (as applicable), existing fuel tank and replace/modify as required to ensure the system is operational, reliable and functional . All work shall be in accordance to PMM standards, NBC, ASHRAE 62.1 ,National Energy code and applicable codes and standards. Alternative options can include:1.electric furnace ; 2.electric baseboards; 3.Heat pump.

Bidders are advised that there will be an Optional conference call to be held on the date and times specified within the item 2.6.15 of the ITT. Attendees will meet the BGIS representative on Microsoft Teams. Bidders are advised that they must pre-register via email, and on behalf of their authorized representatives including sub-contractors, to the procurement specialist named in this ITT by the date indicated in item 2.6.15 of the ITT to be authorized to access the conference call. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s representatives being refused access to the conference call. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit conference call by Addenda. Bidders cannot use a representative from another Bidder as its authorized representative to attend the conference call.
