HMMS on behalf of 13 hospitals within Southwest LHIN is looking to establish a partnership with a preferred Proponent for the supply of Shared Benefits Consultant Services, for 100% of the
requirements. The outcome of this award will result in independent contracts between the successful Proponent and each hospital.
Deliverables
The successful Shared Benefits Consultant will be responsible for delivering the following ongoing services:
Core Services provided to each participating Hospital:
• Annual Client Planning Meeting to define objectives and service delivery timelines and meeting schedule
• Analyze, negotiate and evaluate submissions for renewal rates and expenses in conjunction with the annual renewal process by participating hospitals
• Review and audit of financial accounting
• Quarterly review of claims experiences and developing trends reports delivered electronically
• Assist with managing program costs, cost containment strategies, and cost reduction measures
• Track and evaluate benefit providers in terms of agreed-upon performance measures and guarantees
• Prepare budget projections to align with each participating hospital budget cycle
• Conduct any required RFP for common benefits provider(s) and support the hospitals with impact analysis of adopting new benefits provider(s)
• Implementation support for any RFP conducted by the shared benefit consultant
