Description

This Project involves the removal of the existing undersized 900 mm x 20 m CSP and replacement with a bridge sized structure. The structure consists of SPCSP open bottom Culvert 3960 mm span X 2060 mm rise mounted on sheet pile foundation. Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Walls at both inlet and outlet ends. Work includes geometric improvements to the roadway crossing. The contractor will be responsible for designing and constructing an on-site detour to accommodate traffic during the construction period. The project is located on No Name Creek which is a tributary to the Livingston River on Forestry Trunk Road (50°01"25.8"N 114°25"39.5"W). The project site is in a remote area with no available services, which may present logistical challenges. Tasks may include: - Water accommodation - Onsite Detour - Excavation (including rock excavation) - Driven sheet piles - SPCSP barrel construction - Soil erosion - Back fill and compaction - Retaining wall construction - Road work (including grade raise) - Rip-Rap installation - Erosion protection measures
