Description

Northern Health is seeking proposals from Proponents for the provision of housing and housing related services in Stewart.

The maximum annual budget will correspond to the market rate in the community for the provision of housing and housing-related services. The desired start date for occupancy is April 1, though an earlier start date may be negotiated.

Housing Unit Minimum Requirements

• 1 to 2 bedrooms
• 1 bathroom (1.5 or 2 bathrooms preferred)
• 
  The successful Proponent will provide housing and housing related services including:
• household furnishings and general provisions as defined by Northern Health
• seasonal grounds-keeping as appropriate
• wireless internet
• bedroom and bathroom doors with locks
• functioning smoke alarms
• ABC Class fire extinguisher installed in a prominent location
• parking
• major appliances
• 
  Preference will be given to bids that:
• include all utilities
• have a dishwasher and laundry
• Provide general cleaning of common areas and bedrooms
• 
  Only Housing with a bedroom to bathroom ratio of no more than 2:1 will be considered. Housing located proximate to the health care facility in the community is desirable; walkability to the hospital will be a significant consideration when selecting a unit.
