Description

For the primary purpose of wildfire suppression, the Province requires the services of one (1) intermediate helicopter which will be used mainly as a helicopter coordinator (HLCO) platform. Acceptable helicopter models include: AS350 B2 AS350 B3 AS350 B3+ H125 Other helicopter models may be considered. The helicopter will be positioned as required throughout Alberta, and may be exported outside the province if required. The helicopter may be repositioned with minimal notice and for indefinite periods of time. The Province will guarantee 100 consecutive days for each helicopter, in each year of the Contract. There are no guaranteed flying hours during the Core Period.
