Description

The proposed contract requires field reconnaissance of forty (40) planned timber development blocks and associated access roads for timber sale licence development located across the South Zone Field Team operating areas in the BC Timber Sales (BCTS) Okanagan-Columbia Business Area.

A Registered Professional Forester (RPF) will be required to complete the work outlined in the contract. Field reconnaissance will require working in various conditions, including isolated areas. Activities will include but are not limited to block planning, assessments (blocks, roads, bridges, terrain, forest health, wildlife, visuals, etc.) and the delivery of Block Reconnaissance Reports.

Contract deliverables will be planned for completion throughout the fiscal year to meet the business area quarterly targets. Projects will be completed concurrently as per the approved work progress plan and schedules.
