Description

The Municipal District of Taber (MD) is seeking competitive proposals from consulting firms to develop the final design for the Enchant Landfill Expansion. The final design will provide a new cell in the Enchant Landfill and the capping of old cell. The successful Consultant will focus its design to accommodate current and future needs of the MD and will act as the Prime Consultant on the project. The anticipated scope of services is as follows but not limited to:

• Preparation of final design drawings and specifications based on the preliminary information and recommendations provided in the Tetra Tech report - Enchant Class III Landfill Cell Design from April 15, 2021.
• Coordination with relevant regulatory authorities to ensure compliance to the Code of Practice for Landfills.
• Field surveying with data processing, as well as construction monitoring as required to complete regulatory approvals. QC testing may be required to ensure compliance to the construction drawings and specifications. Follow up with a Construction Quality Assurance Report will be required once construction is completed.
• Monitoring wells may be required as part of detailed design and as required in the Code of Practice for Landfills.
• Document all discussions, decisions, and notes from all working meetings with the MD.
• Provide monthly Progress Reports and invoice of work performed by the 1st of every month to the MD of Taber.
