Notice is hereby given that Fraser Health Authority (the “Health Authority”), through its agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Highlighter Cartridges for Wipes for a term of 3 years at an estimated value of $ 18,189,808.00 .

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Fraser Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason

• the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:
• due to an absence of competition for technical reasons
• This patented disinfecting wipe coloring system affixes to the wipe containers currently in use at the Health Authority. Kinnos’ Highlighter colors the disinfectant wipes, allowing staff to visualize that the surfaces have been thoroughly disinfected by a temporary coloration process. By being able to visualize the cleaning coverage of the wiping, users are able to visualize areas that may have been missed. Visualizing this coverage improves the cleaning process and minimizes surface contamination. There is no other company in the market that offers this product.
  
  Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Bhavishan Kumar Goel, Buyer , Category Management by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time, December 16, 2024. PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
