Description

Ontario Health is seeking expressions of interest from clinical leaders for the position of Clinical Quality Provincial Lead. Reporting to Vice-President, Quality, Acute and Hospital Based Care, the lead will provide leadership to influence positive change, with the ultimate goals of aligning Ontario Health’s quality agenda, engaging communities to build on existing efforts, and promoting a culture of quality that will enable improved patient experiences and outcomes.

The Clinical Quality Provincial Lead will provide expert advice and visionary leadership at the provincial level, specifically in the areas of patient safety and quality implementation. They will advance clinical quality priorities by providing leadership to influence change, championing quality improvement and Ontario Health’s quality programs, engaging with clinicians and administrators to build on existing efforts and promoting a culture of quality and patient safety to improve patient experiences and outcomes. The lead will work with other clinical leaders, relevant stakeholders and regional partners to enable successful implementation of clinical quality and patient safety programs. This will include supporting system planning and design, development and implementation of provincial program strategy, along with related data, reporting and performance management processes.
