Description

Notice is hereby given that the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Microsoft Canada Inc (the “Service Provider”) for the following:

• Microsoft M365 Suite of IT Services (Email, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)
• The contract will be for three (3) years from March 1, 2025 to Feb 29, 2028 and the contract amount for the three years is up to a maximum of $1,575,000.00. The value of the contract from March 1, 2014 to February 28, 2025 is $5,695,328.15 (subscription costs).
  
  Background
  
  The current contract with Microsoft Canada Inc expires on February 28, 2025. The City of Abbotsford (“City”) is participating in the Provincial “Microsoft Business and Services Agreement (“MBSA”) which entitles the City to pricing “Level D”.
  
  Scope of Services of Specifications
  
• Maintain M365 subscription to continue access to Microsoft services and software.
• Rationale for Contemplating a Direct Award
  
  The City is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons:
• To ensure continuity of services and support of Microsoft M365 and avoid any business operational disruptions.
• Contract Value:
  
  The value of the contract is expected not to exceed $7,270,328.15 CAD plus applicable taxes.
