Description

The purpose of this RFP is to select a successful Proponent to enter into a Contract with the Province to provide expert, independent investment consulting services to the Public Trustee relating generally to management of the Common Fund. The Contractor’s Lead Consultant will be primarily responsible for the relationship with the Public Trustee. The Lead Consultant will be supported by an Account Team. The investment consulting services are required, in particular, in the following areas: • assisting the Public Trustee in periodic reviews of investment objectives, strategies and policies for the Common Fund, as embodied in the SIP&G; • assisting the Public Trustee in reviewing and revising long-term objectives, policies and strategies regarding the interest rate paid on guaranteed accounts, management of the Common Fund surplus, and asset mix; • monitoring and reporting on portfolio and investment manager performance and compliance; • assisting the Public Trustee in evaluating proposals for investment manager as required.
