• Currently, Ministry possesses more than 200 pieces of occupational hygiene monitoring equipment. Ministry is initiating the “Provision of a Portable Gas Chromatography Detector Purchase” to allow an open/competitive procurement.
  
  As indicated earlier, MLITSD currently possesses a variety of equipment for sampling chemical and physical agents. As part of this ‘request for bid service’, Ministry requests the following:
  
  - Vendor to provide a Portable Gas Chromatography Detector for purchase.
  
  Ministry also requires the Vendor to do the following:
  
  • Furnishing Certificate of Calibration (where necessary) including the appropriate standards followed; reporting of accuracy and precision;
  • Furnishing invoice promptly
• Scope of Work
  What?
  As part of this ‘request for bid service’, Ministry requests the service for purchase of a new portable gas chromatography detector and accessories.
  
  Why?
  Occupational hygiene equipment such as the portable gas chromatography detector is routinely used for Ministry’s core business i.e., the enforcement of the OHSA and regulations.
  
  When?
  Following the completion of the procurement process.
  
  Where?
  Following the procurement process, the selected vendor to provide (either shipping it to a designated Ministry office or to be picked up by a designated Ministry staff from the Vendor’s premise) the portable gas chromatography detector.
