Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Izaak Walton Killam Health Centre (“IWK”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the supply of healthcare-grade furniture to outfit a new MHA clinic at Mic Mac Mall. We are seeking innovative solutions and products that support the unique needs of our healthcare setting, with a specific focus on community mental health and addictions services. Our focus is on creating an environment that fosters healing, respect, and dignity for individuals receiving care, while avoiding the institutional feel often associated with healthcare facilities. This new clinic will serve as a hub for the assessment and treatment of children, youth, and families, while also supporting research, innovation, and teaching to advance care and learning.
