The Town of Canmore seeks proposals from experienced consultants or consulting groups to develop a Public Art Plan for Canmore, AB. The goal is to create vibrant, engaging, and functional spaces celebrating Canmore"s unique character while strengthening the bond between people and place through thoughtful, context-driven art. As Canmore undergoes economic and social transformation, this plan will be instrumental in shaping the public realm by enhancing the Town"s cultural and creative vitality. It is important to optimize alignment between the plan and the funding guidelines and deliverables of the Art Trust Reserve Fund, ensuring financial feasibility without the need for significant increases in funding. The time is right to develop a Public Art Plan and affirm a Public Art Program that is bold, relevant, and inclusive for the coming years.
