Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has a requirement to provide the services of a Primary Care Physician (General Practitioner) for regional on call duty for all institutions in the Quebec
Region
Objectives: Provide primary care on call outside CSC normal working hours to ensure CSC is able to provide a continuum of access to medical care to offenders in accordance with generally
accepted community standards, for all the institutions in the Quebec Region.
Deliverables: Upon request from the Project Authority, the Contractor must:
Provide primary care on call services according to the schedules specified in Annex A – Statement of Work, to cover medical issues and emergencies outside of normal CSC office hours.
Document their actions in the Inmates Electronic Health Care Records.
Participate in various CSC inmate grievance, investigation and human rights complaints processes, or court proceedings that may include a review of the Contractor"s documentation on the Health
Care Records.
Participate in interviews as a result of an inmate grievance or investigation process.
Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment.

Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of February 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
