Description:
Work of this contract comprises of but not necessarily limited to:
- Disconnection of two interconnected transportable trailer units (each approximately 14. 767 meters by 3. 793 meters) from their current location in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Trailers are to be made ready for transport then relocated to new location in Cumberland House, Saskatchewan. Trailers are currently served by municipal power, propane tanks, and integrated water/ sewage storage. Exterior wooden romps and stairs are to be dismantled and salvaged for reuse at new location. Select concrete barriers ore to be relocated along with trailers to new site. Upon removal of units, remove all debris leftover due to scope of work.
- Make ready site at Cumberland House. Site preparation includes minor grubbing and placement of rig matting at new location. Upon placement on site, relocated transportable trailer units to be levelled and connected to town power, water/ sewer and existing propane tanks located at new site. Repair damage to transportable trailers caused by relocation. Service tie-ins to be combination of overland and within trenching. Trailers are ta be made fully operational. Mechanical and electrical equipment/ fixtures to be confirmed upon relocation to ensure good working order. Integrated fire alarm to be linked to secondary building located on site so that system reads as one. Communications cabling to be provided between transportable trailer units and to same previously mentioned secondary building on site. Reinstall salvaged decking. Minor reconfiguration of decking will be required.
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by 2025 March 31st.
This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.
No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.
There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.
