Description

BC Hydro’s Distribution Vegetation Management program is critical to properly maintaining vegetation along approximately 55,000 km of distribution lines up to 25kV throughout a 3-to-5-year maintenance cycle to ensure the ongoing safety and reliability of the power system. Therefore, it is extremely important that we are able to develop collaborative relationships with trusted, reliable, and experienced vegetation management suppliers who have the capability to deliver all Distribution Vegetation Management Services that will enable us to move our organization forward and achieve BC Hydro’s strategic objectives. Proponents are encouraged to submit Proposals for any one or more of the forty-four (44) Areas across the Province of BC either as an Area Supplier or an On-call Supplier. Each Contract is expected to be for a three (3) year term which may be extended at BC Hydro’s discretion for up to six (6) additional years through one or more Contract extensions.


The Contract is expected to be for an initial term of (3) years, which may be extended for up to (6) year(s) through one or more contract extensions, for a potential total term of (9) years.
