Description

The Municipality of the District of Argyle (Argyle), located in Nova Scotia, is soliciting proposals from qualified law firms to provide comprehensive legal services to the municipality. The selected firm will be responsible for advising on a range of legal matters crucial to the effective governance and operation of the municipality. Argyle is located in Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia and serves about 7,000 residents. It is predominantly an Acadian community and serves both anglophone and francophone residents in the delivery of municipal services. Argyle is engaged in numerous regional organizations, including but not limited to the Yarmouth International Airport Corporation and the Mariners Center. With these partnerships comes the need for additional legal services that may be required for contract negotiation or for other issues from time to time.
