Description

The Region of Queens Engineering and Public Works Department is the municipal agency responsible for maintaining municipal infrastructure such as streets, roads, and water and wastewater utilities as well as operating a solid waste facility, numerous public parks and facilities in Queens County. To accomplish this, it utilizes approximately 90 pieces of heavy equipment including (but not limited to): - Single and tandem axle dump trucks - Tracked excavators and bulldozers - Wheeled loaders - Highway truck-tractors and large tanker trailers - Off-road trucks The Department is accepting expressions of interest from qualified, competent, and authorized contractors who can provide regular and irregularly scheduled mechanical services as requested to ensure this fleet continues to meet both OEM specifications and regulatory requirements.
