Description

Replacement of one (1) air compressor serving the dry fire suppression system and one (1) air compressor and one (1) air dryer serving the pneumatic controls for AHU T-1. All equipment is located in the L1 Mechanical Room.

• For each of the above:
• Removal and disposal of existing air compressor(s) and air dryer.
• Furnishing and installation of new air compressor(s) and air dryer, including all associated piping, isolation valves, electrical connections, and controls.
• Modification of existing piping and electrical systems as necessary to accommodate new equipment.
• Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents:
• Provide a detailed work plan including a project schedule and construction phasing plan. This detailed work plan shall be submitted to the Departmental
• Representative for review to verify that there will be no interruption of service.
• All equipment and associated components are to be delivered to the site in a timely manner so that the work can proceed without delays.
• All of the above-mentioned works to be performed in an environment which contains building hazardous materials. Provide for work including removal of hazardous materials in accordance with requirements of all Division 2 specification sections.
• Provide as-built drawings and closeout submittals.
