Description

KB05 - Roof replacement and replace the storm sewer system as part of a phased project to upgrade the building mechanical systems. Replace the combined sewer system with separate storm and sanitary sewers, connected to municipal sewers. Cost estimate includes mechanical removals and new work and all associated general contract work, including asbestos removal. The greenhouse is deemed unusable and the glazing, roof, walls and all its components shall be removed down to the roofing substrate. As part of this project, the consultant shall review crack in slab and provide a repair solution. The consultant shall investigate the existing drain conditions and drainage requirements. New roofing shall match the existing roof type and be integrated into the existing roofing. Roof slopes to the drains shall be considered. This project is amalgamated with GOC1831157- KB05 - Removal of the greenhouse as per client request.

Please arrive early to get through Security. Photo ID and clearances are required. Bidders are advised that there will be an MANDATORY site visit to be held on the date specified within item 2.6.15 of the ITT. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the MANDATORY site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Project Manager Jason Scharf at the security desk of 601 Booth Street, Ottawa, ON. Site visits will be conducted in small groups.
