- MacEwan University needs to source affordable and accessible residential housing units primarily to plan for student growth. Moving from 20,000 students in 2022 to 30,000 by 2030 will require new accessible housing units. 
- This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by MacEwan University for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements.
- The Request for Information (RFI) is intended to explore models for collaboration to kick-start development, renewal, and/or occupancy arrangements for accessible housing for MacEwan’s students, and potentially staff, faculty, and alumni.  
- The RFI helps MacEwan understand what the market envisions and could provide.  
- The information from this stage would inform a next stage RFP (Request for Proposal) process that would have greater specificity of MacEwan"s needs and pursuant to specific partnership model (s).
