Description

The City is developing a new 6.5 ha (16 acre) regional park in the SE quadrant of the city. This park will be located in the community of Seton and will service the far SE region of the city, which is presently undergoing rapid development. A qualified consulting team, led by a Landscape Architect, is needed to provide preliminary design services to progress the development of Seton Regional Park (“The Park”).

The Consultant will support The City project team with public engagement activities and use the results of the engagement to develop an appropriate vision for The Park in the form of a master plan document.

Consulting services for The Park will consist of the following Phases of Work:
1. Master Planning
2. Detailed Design
3. Construction Administration and Post Construction Services
The City is presently funded for and seeking a Consultant to provide services for the Master Planning phase of work. The initial award under this RFP is for Phase 1 only. Award of each subsequent Phase is subject of the Consultant’s performance and budget approval. Future Phase work will occur approximately from 2025 – 2029. (TBD based on funding allocation)
