Description

BC Hydro plans to issue a Request for Proposals (the "RFP") via BC Bid in approximately April 2025 to procure a Governor and a hollow cone valve-type Pressure Relief Valve of 2.44m diameter for the La Joie Generating Station. The purpose of this project is to replace the governor and the PRV including upgrading the common hydraulic oil low pressure control system to a high-pressure control system for the governor, as well as replacement of the turbine shutoff valve servomotor and hydraulic power unit. This RFI#20610 is to gather industry feedback on the ability of the suppliers to design and supply a governor and a PRV under a single contract
