Description

The work, unless specifically stated otherwise, shall include the furnishing of all engineering, materials, products, plants, labor and transportation necessary to complete the work of some or all of the following Sewer Lining project. The winning bidder will have a project manager available to coordinate efforts with the City of Lethbridge.

Lining work includes:
1. Mobilization and demobilization
2. Timely notification to all affected residents and business
3. Safety and site security including all traffic management plans, traffic control and flag persons
4. Excavation of manhole frames for pipeline access
5. Sewer preparation
6. Sewer bypassing
7. Temporary Sewer Arrangements
8. Cleaning and dewatering
9. Inspections
10. Pipe spot repairs and obstruction removal
11. CIPP lining
12. Quality assurance testing
13. Connection reinstatements
14. Site Restorations

Setup – The City will provide the contractor with maps of the area to be lined, including as-built data as requested. Each package will be within a neighborhood area with the intent to line all the pipes in the area if practical. The Contractor will have one year after receipt of the package to complete the work. Estimated quantities of pipe are not guaranteed, the amount could be larger or smaller based on budget. The City will work with the Contractor and extend deadlines if the package is larger than anticipated. Change orders for excessive pipe cleaning and mineral grinding will be considered if the Contractor notifies the City’s Project Manager ahead of time.
