Description

Donor recognition is provided to recognize current and estate gifts in accordance with Sunnybrook Foundation’s Naming Policy. Naming opportunities are approved and reviewed by the Donor Relations Committee of the Sunnybrook Foundation Board and are considered in accordance with the Naming Valuation and Guidelines. These guidelines are reviewed every 3 years to establish an appropriate value, obtained by review of best practices, scope and scale of the named space, entity or initiative, and recent namings at the Hospital and similar institutions.
Donor recognition signage is to remain consistent with the Hospital’s purposes. It should tie in with existing architectural treatments and design elements within the Hospital and be placed in an appropriate manner and location so as to avoid any confusion to patients and visitors.
