Description

Notice is hereby given by the City of Leduc (City) of its intent to purchase a 2024 Ford F-550 Chassis from Zender Ford. This procurement is estimated at $89,322.

• The City requires a chassis for a truck replacement that includes replacing the chassis on a service body truck, refurbishing the existing service body and mounting the service body onto a new chassis.
• A 2024 Ford F-550 Chassis, that meets the chassis requirements for this equipment is readily available.
• The chassis is comparable to the existing chassis and the service body will transfer over to the new chassis with minimal or no modifications.
• Chassis:
- 2024 Ford F-550 Chassis (new) 4x4 SD Regular Cab 169” WB DRW XLT (F5H).
- 6.7L diesel engine and a 10 speed automatic transmission.
- GVWR of 18,000 lbs.
- OEM rear view camera including a prep kit for installing it in our service body.
- OEM running boards.
- Purchasing a readily available chassis reduces the time required to complete the service body refurbishment.
- There is cost savings to the City by purchasing the chassis separately.
