Description

The Town of Smithers (“the Town”) has issued a Request for Proposal seeking an experienced consultant with expertise in airport financial management and planning in the Canadian rural airport marketplace.
The goal of the Project is to review the current governance and funding model of the Smithers Regional Airport and assess and recommend a sustainable funding model for the Smithers Regional Airport. The proposal must consider different financial models and recommend and develop a business plan and other relevant material to support the Town and its regional partners in implementing additional regional airport funding.
