This Request for Proposals (RFP) is an invitation from Conseil scolaire francophone de la ColombieBritannique (“the CSF” or “the Owner”) to submit a Proposal to provide Demolition
Services of the former Burnaby Duthie-Union Elementary School, a 1000 sq.m one story old elementary school building that was built on two stages in 1970 and 1971, located at 7231 Frances Street
in Burnaby, BC (“the Project.”).
The project involves the hazardous building materials assessment and abatement, disconnection/removal of utilities, demolition of site infrastructure, disposal of structure contents,
construction materials, and general site debris.
Optional Site Visit
The bidders have the option to attend an optional site visit scheduled for April 3rd, 2024, at 10 AM. Attendance confirmation must be sent via email to the contact person no later than two days
before the visit. The site address is 7231 Frances Street, Burnaby, BC. Any questions raised during the visit should be emailed to the contact person within two days after the visit for an
official response. Questions and answers will be shared with all bidders in an addendum on the 3rd day. Bidders attending must sign an attendance sheet during the meeting, and their names will
be issued by addendum. Issues arising from the visit will be addressed in an addendum to the Bid Documents. No meeting minutes will be provided. Bidders cannot rely on any information given
verbally or otherwise at the visit unless confirmed by addendum. Bidders must be always accompanied by an Owner representative during the visit and provide their own personal protective
equipment.
