• RFB for the procurement of a vendor to conduct financial reviews related to licence requests such as redevelopment, development, licence transfers, changes in controlling interest and loan guarantees. The financial review is a due diligence process on the part of the Ministry to assess the financial status of proposed licensees and their long-term capacity to deliver and maintain the operations of the home(s) in question.
• Scope of Work
  The ministry is procuring a new vendor to undertake financial reviews to support licensing decisions. The proposed procurement will run between March 2024 –April 2024 with a contract established by May 31, 2024. The Fixing Long-Term Care Act (FLTCA) requires that the Ministry of Long-Term Care undertake a financial review to support the Director’s decisions on specific licensing requests. Financial reviews are ongoing throughout the fiscal year and are slated to increase in FY24-25 to meet the governments mandate of 58,000 new beds by 2028.
