Description

• Sir Harry Oakes Chateau is heritage site with a Part IV municipal designation under the Ontario Heritage Act.
  
  This is a Request for Bids (RFB) for the provision of full-scope general contractor services from start-up through close-out for the Structural Stabilization and Repairs Project at Sir Harry Oakes Chateau in Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
• Scope of Work
  The Sir Harry Oakes Chateau - Structural Stabilization and Repairs Project includes (but is not limited to) the following full-provisions to conserve / repair and/or rebuild to like-for-like conditions:
  • Soft- and Hard-landscaping (eg. paving, pathways, stairs, retaining walls, etc.)
  • Exterior Building Envelope (eg. timber structure, cladding, fenestrations, etc.)
  • Roofing (eg. modified bitumen, metal, watergoods, etc.)
  • Foundations
  • Miscellaneous Repairs (eg. wood repairs, refinishing, and painting, etc.)
• 
  Mandatory Information Session (Virtual) Date: February 27, 2024 at 11:00 am (Toronto time).
  Virtual Link: (Link TBD – Issued via Addendum).
  All bidders must sign on in before 10:45 am to meet this Mandatory (Virtual) Site Meeting requirement.
  All bidders are to send an email to Joan Burnett prior to February 26, 2024 (12:00 pm noon) to confirm their attendance at the Mandatory Information Session *(Virtual).
