Description

Definition of requirement:
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) requires the rental services of an outdoor shooting range for
the training of border services officers in the handling of firearms.

Objectives:
The CBSA has a requirement to lease the services of an outdoor shooting range within 20 kilometers from
the city of Sherbrooke in order to provide armed border services officers with firearms training in accordance
with prescribed standardized policies.

Tasks and Deliverables:
The tasks and deliverables the Contractor must complete include, but are not limited to the following:
? The Contractor must be flexible to allow bookings at various times each month between April and
October, depending on CBSA training needs.
? It is expected that the shooting range will provide us with all services related to the shooting
room, including the reservation of a training room and access to the washrooms and dining area
when dates are reserved for the shooting activities of the Agency.
? Provision of firearms range for approximately 20 days per year.
? Provide safety procedures.

Security Requirements:
There is no security requirements associated with this requirement.

The Period of the Proposed Contract or the Delivery Date(s):
The contract period is from April 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, with the option to extend the contract by
four (4) additional one-year periods (January 1 to December 31 of each year).

Suppliers who consider themselves fully qualified and available to provide the services described in the
ACAN, may submit a statement of capabilities in writing to the contact person identified in this notice on or
before the closing date and time of this notice. This statement of capabilities must clearly demonstrate how
the supplier meets the advertised requirements.
