Description

Sealed Tenders, plainly marked on the envelope "Tender for ITT 2024-928 Craigflower and Gorge Inlet Chamber Rehabilitations" will be received by the Purchaser, Integrated Water Services of the Capital Regional District at their offices at 479 Island Highway, Victoria, British Columbia up to 2:00:00 PM local time on March 5, 2024, at which time they will be opened in private.

The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following:

Craigflower Inlet:

• Installation of about 72m of 600mm diameter PVC pipe
• Installation of about 42m of 600mm diameter Ductile Iron pipe
• Installation of 4 concrete manholes (1 – 1,200mm and 3 – 1,500mm dia)
• Removal of 2 existing concrete manholes and 1 PVC vortex drop assembly
• Restoration of concrete inside the deteriorated vortex drop chamber
• Temporary by-pass pump and piping work
• Gorge Inlet:
• Installation of one 1,500mm dia concrete manhole
• Installation of Owner-Supplied Electrical Kiosk and duct work
• Restoration of concrete inside the deteriorated siphon inlet chamber
• Temporary by-pass pump and piping work
• Proponents may be awarded follow-on work without a competition.
  
  A non-mandatory pre-tender site meeting will be held at 150 Island Highway, View Royal at 10:00 AM, February 13, 2024. Tenderers are recommended to visit the site to ensure that they have satisfied themselves of everything and of every condition that could affect the execution of the work. Tenderers are encouraged to make enquiries to satisfy themselves of the work requirements.
