Description

Extension repairs on The Koshkawong Barrier and Trap - St Joseph Island, Ontario

The scope for this project includes, but is not limited to:

1. creating a detailed repair design of the repairs required to improve concrete structural integrity, sea lamprey lip, and jump pool modifications to improve fish passage. It is important that this design feature provide the fish passage while not creating an undue public safety (drowning) hazard due to a submerged hydraulic jump and to also prevent sea lamprey passage at the barrier.
2. construction to implement the detailed repair design thereby extending the life of the Koshkawong barrier.
