Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Saskatoon Research and Development Centre at 107 Science Pl and 410 Lowe Road, Saskatoon, SK requires a Contractor to provide Building Mechanical Services
on an “as and when requested basis”.
This bid solicitation is to establish a contract with task authorizations (TA) for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation, to the Identified Users.
The period of the contract will be for 1 calendar year with the possibility to extend the Contract for 3 additional 1 year periods. The anticipated start date is April 1, 2024.
Security Requirements
There are security requirements associated with this requirement. The contractor/offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must each hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted
or approved by AAFC.
Optional Site Visit Information
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 10:00 am
CST.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Site Authority no later than Monday, February 5, 2024 at 12:00 pm CST to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will
attend.

Mandatory Technical Requirements
Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the bid solicitation including the technical and financial evaluation criteria.
Basis of selection: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the
lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
SOLICITATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO AAFC AT:
Bids shall be submitted using the CPC Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit bids electronically. Bids must be submitted only to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC)
