Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Engineering Services- Design, Tendering and Construction Phases of James WWTP Screw Pump No. 4 Installation and No. 1 Upgrades Project.
The Joint Abbotsford Mission Environmental System (JAMES) Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is located at 5959 Gladwin Avenue in Abbotsford, BC, providing secondary treatment services for wastewater collected in the urban areas of Abbotsford, Mission, and City of Sumas in Washington, US. The Plant services an equivalent population of approximately 275,000 with an average treated flow of 55,000m3/day. The Consultant will be responsible for providing detailed design, tendering, construction service and post-construction service on this project.

Site Visit / Pre-Bid Meeting
December 14, 2023 at the JAMES WWPT (5959 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford) starting at 10:00am ending at 11:30am, PPE required. Interested parties should email Tony Seibert before 2:00pm Wednesday December 13, 2023 confirming attendance. Note the site visit / pre-bid meeting is optional.
