The Government of Belize has received financing from the World Bank (WB) for the implementation of the Project - Belize Reliant and Resilient Energy System Project. This Project aims to enhance the country’s electricity infrastructure by integrating 40 MW of battery energy storage to facilitate future renewable energy adoption, improve grid resilience against extreme weather conditions and provide technical assistance for system optimization.

The Ministry of Finance, through its Central Executing Unit, intends to allocate a portion of the project’s proceeds for the purchase of Office Furniture & Equipment (hereinafter called “Goods”).

Bidders may submit a proposal for ONE LOT or for ALL THREE Lots. Each bid submitted must include every item within the selected lot to be considered responsive.

The Ministry of Finance invites bidders to access the complete bidding document at https://procurement.gov.bz/mof-request-for-bids-supply-delivery-of-office-furniture-equipment-goods-bz-mfedi-ceu-483430-go-rfb-mof-2026/

The selection of bids will be conducted in accordance with the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (February 2025). The process will also adhere to the procurement policies and the best practices of the Government of Belize. This selection is open to all eligible bidders as defined by the referenced policies.

Bids should be submitted in English before or on March 18, 2026; 9:00 a.m. (Local Belize Time). Late submissions will not be accepted.

Submission of Bids should be made either:

• By Email: One (1) password-protected PDF file sent to procurement@ceu.mof.gov.bz, or
• In Hard Copy: Two (2) printed copies delivered to the address below, clearly indicating “Request for Bid – Supply & Delivery of Office Furniture & Equipment”.
• The subject line of the email or the envelope should clearly state: “Request for Bid – Supply & Delivery of Office Furniture & Equipment”.
