The Government of Belize has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Climate Resilient and Sustainable Agriculture Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The GOB intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing towards hiring five (5) experienced and qualified consultants as Micro Finance Field Officers to be responsible for the Matching Grant Program of the CRESAP Project being administered and implemented by the PFIs. Three Consultants will be assigned for La Inmaculada Credit Union (LICU), one for the St Francis Xavier Credit Union (SFXCU), and one for the Toledo Teachers Credit Union (TTCU). The Finance Field Officers will serve as the primary link between the Participating Financial Institutions under the Matching Grant Program, and the potential farmers interested in the Matching Grant Program.
