BESS SPECIFICATIONS OF PROCUREMENT
1. BESS should be a containerized product for outdoor/indoor installation at various sites.
2. Bi-directional Inverter PCS (Inverter), capable of connecting directly to transformers for both output
and input.
3. Redundant HVAC Air conditioning units (source of power should be specified, also to be within the
container).
4. Provisions to install auxiliary power sources for HVAC, SCADA, Inverter Controller, control systems
and any other components which are required for operational control of the BESS.
5. Lightning Protection System including TVSS where required to be integrated.
6. Ability to be integrated with utility SCADA systems using integration methods of the BMS and control
systems of the BESS.
7. All Balance of system components for operation of the BESS
8. BESS thermal management system and components along with those required for fire prevention
and countermeasures.
9. Provide all installation, operational, emergency response manuals. Provision for any required training
for the operation of the BESS in its totality and required maintenance.
10. Commissioning and testing of the BESS into full scale operation.
11. Providing and supporting performance guarantees for the installed and operational BESS.
