Assignment Title : Selection of Environmental Specialist

The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Economic Acceleration and Resilience for NEET (EARN) Project (P178077) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services (Environmental Specialist).
The consulting services (“the Services”) will include but not limited to:

Date of Commencement : July 2025 (Tentative)
Assignment Period : July 2025 to June 2026 with the possibility to extension of the service subject to the satisfactory performance of the consultant and mutual consent.
Place of Working : Primarily at PMU of EARN with field visits all over Bangladesh if required.

The Department of Youth Development now invites eligible Individual Consultant (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are educational qualification, experience (general & specific) and subtility for the assignment.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the “World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
A consultant will be selected following the Limited Market Approach of Individual Consultant Selection (ICS) method as set forth in the “World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers,” dated November 2020.
