Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) for Selection of Individual Consultant

The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) – a member of the World Bank Group – for financing the cost of the Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) Project, being implemented by the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). BCC intends to apply part of the IDA Credit for procuring the services of consulting services under the project. The following consultants (national) will be recruited on the basis of individual capacity:

Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) Project now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (complete CV with details as required). The consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in World Bank’s Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers (July 2016, Revised November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020).

Interested applicants may obtain the Terms of Reference (TOR) from the office of the EDGE Project during office hours or download from the website www.bcc.gov.bd.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be submitted in written form in the address below (in person or by mail or by e-mail) by January 30, 2023, within 2.00 PM and be clearly marked “Expression of Interest for position of …………………………”. In addition, the applicants are requested to submit workable soft copy of the CV to facilitate the evaluation of received EOI.

The authority has the right to accept or reject any or all the applications.
