BAC through this RFP is seeking proposals from bidders to supply stretchfilm rolls in BIA. BAC has provided in this RFP the specifications required and the Successful Bidder is expected to cover the requirements listed in Scope of Work. The RFP lays down the terms and condition for the tender process. This RFP includes all the terms and condition of the tender process and should be read carefully. The Bidders are expected to clearly meet all the requirements as specified in this RFP.

Mandatory Requirements

The Bidders shall meet the requirements mentioned in BTB’s portal and below to qualify for the technical/financial evaluation.

The Bidder must be able to comply and answer Yes / No to all the requirement and deliverables in scope of work specified in section 3 of this RFP.

1. Quantity: of Rolls 5,000 rolls

2. Material: Machine wrap with minimum 250% to 300% stretchability and high puncture resistance.

3. Size: 50cm x 1500 meter

4. Thickness: 23 microns

5. Weight: Not less than 17 kg. per roll

6. Color: Clear transparent

7. Speed of Delivery: To deliver the required partial quantity of rolls to Bahrain International Airport (BIA) by the next day following receipt of the request, without any delays.

The Bidder must have at least five (5) years of experience of supplying machine grade stretch film rolls for large scale commercial use under general trading activities showing in CR.

In case any Bidder, fails to meet any one of the following mandatory qualifications, it shall be disqualified from the tender process and their bid will not be evaluated any further.

توريد غلاف بلاستيكي قابل للتمدد في مطار البحرين الدولي

تسعى شركة مطار البحرين إلى استلام مقترحات من المناقصين لتوريد لفات فيلم التغليف (Stretchfilm) في مطار البحرين الدولي. وقد أدرجت شركة مطار البحرين في هذا الطلب (RFP) المواصفات المطلوبة، ويتوقّع من المناقص الفائز أن يغطي المتطلبات المدرجة في نطاق العمل. كما يوضح هذا الطلب الشروط والأحكام الخاصة بعملية المناقصة. ويشمل هذا الطلب جميع الشروط والأحكام المرتبطة بعملية المناقصة، لذا يجب قراءته بعناية. ويتوقّع من المناقصين تلبية جميع المتطلبات المحددة بوضوح في هذا الطلب.

المتطلبات الإلزامية

يجب على المناقصين استيفاء المتطلبات المذكورة في بوابة مجلس المناقصات والمزايدات في مملكة البحرين، بالإضافة إلى ما يلي، حتى يتم التأهل للتقييم الفني والمالي:

· يجب أن يكون المناقص قادرًا على الامتثال والإجابة بـ (نعم / لا) على جميع المتطلبات والمخرجات المذكورة في نطاق العمل ضمن القسم الثالث من هذا الطلب.

1. الكمية المطلوبة من اللفات: 5,000 لفة

2. المادة: فيلم تغليف آلي بقدرة تمدد لا تقل عن 250% إلى 300% ومقاومة عالية للثقب

3. الحجم: ‎50 سم × 1500 متر

4. السماكة: 23 ميكرون

5. الوزن: لا يقل عن 17 كيلوجرام لكل لفة

6. اللون: شفاف (صافي)

7. سرعة التوريد: يجب تسليم الكمية الجزئية المطلوبة من اللفات إلى مطار البحرين الدولي (BIA) في اليوم التالي لتلقي الطلب، دون أي تأخير.

· يجب أن يمتلك المناقص خبرة لا تقل عن خمس (5) سنوات في توريد غلاف بلاستيكي قابل للتمدد لتغليف من النوع المخصص للآلات (machine grade) للاستخدام التجاري واسع النطاق، على أن تكون هذه الأنشطة مدرجة في السجل التجاري (CR) تحت فئة الأنشطة التجارية العامة.

وفي حال عدم استيفاء المناقص لأي من المتطلبات الإلزامية المذكورة أعلاه، فسيتم استبعاده من عملية المناقصة، ولن يتم النظر في عرضه لاحقًا.

How to Participate?

• Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Sunday, 24 August 2025
• Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
• For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
• The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
• The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
• This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
• In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
• Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender"s subject.
• Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
• This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
• Small and Medium Enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
